Workshops
Drawing on my teaching experience gained in former roles as counselling tutor and lecturer, I create and facilitate CPD workshops designed to help counsellors and trainees develop their therapeutic awareness and skills.
These workshops cover a range of themes from an introductory level to explorations of more advanced concepts. Rather than being purely intellectual, they are experiential, giving participants a real taste of gestalt therapy in action. I also run occasional workshops for the public.

The intent of these CPD workshops is to share some of gestalt’s fascinating theory and practice with counsellors and therapists from outside the gestalt community. Consequently, they are designed to introduce basic concepts and cover a variety of themes, and are delivered with a mix of lecture, experiential exercise, and discussion. They are ideal for humanistic counsellors and trainees, although participants from other approaches are welcome too. Usually my workshops take place in the Liverpool area, although sometimes further afield too, depending on demand. Generally, they are held on a Saturday, with the cost varying between £50 and £75. Handouts and CPD attendance certificates are always provided. Occasionally I also run workshops for the public.
